Plavix®: Class 1 medicines recall

The MHRA in conjunction with the EMEA, with assistance from Waymade plc, are recalling parallel distributed stock of batches 3103/1 to 3103/20 of clopidogrel tablets 75mg branded as Plavix®, following the discovery of counterfeit tablets in the legitimate supply chain. Casodex®: Class 1 medicines recall

The MHRA with assistance from AstraZeneca UK Ltd, are recalling any parallel imported stock of Lot 65520 (and lot variants) of bicalutamide tablets 50mg branded as Casodex®, following the discovery of counterfeit tablets in the legitimate supply chain. The counterfeit medicine was supplied in French livery via parallel importers into the UK supply chain. (1 June 2007, www.mhra.gov.uk)
